When all else fails just praise Him :)

It has been quite a while since I last posted here. Time flies after you graduate :D
By the grace of God, I made it through my 4 years in NTU.
I really thought I could not scrape through my last sem but God remains faithful :)

After graduation comes the many transitions.
I took a good long break and I'm thankful for that!
Korea --> Legacy Camp --> Hillsong Conference
What more could I ask for right?

Actually, Israel is my next goal!!
And mission trip as well!!
Believe it or not, I have never been on an actual mission trip!
The stories my friends carry back sound epicly amazing and it beckons me to go forth and see for myself!

Convocation was a blast!!
Other than the very hot and irritating gown, I really enjoyed that day.
31st July 2012

Thanks guys for coming down!!!
I am forever grateful!! :D

Anyway, back to transitions.
It was a period of uncertainty for me.
No longer a student, I had to find a way to earn my keep (or so I thought)
Leaving NTU Arts, I began the search for a GenRev CG.
Looking back these past few months, it was definitely a trying period for me.

However, I'm thankful for the friends and family around me.
Random meetups, gatherings kept me going.
Most importantly, I got to learn all over again to cherish and treasure His presence and His Word in my life :)
Those are irreplaceable

I'm really thankful that God has called me to be in New Creation Church :)
Otherwise I would not have met some of the most wonderful people that I now know and things could have been much worse.

On a side note, it is exactly 2 months to Christmas!!!
And I will choose to believe.
That You are strong enough in my weakness.
And I will sing.
Lift Your praises high
Lord be magnified.
You make all things new
I will believe
Amen :)

You are more than enough for me!

Currently listening to 'One Day' by Hillsong!
Its reli a new old song haha!! :D

So many things have happened in the past few months and I finally decided to do an update here :)

After getting rejected by a few organizations, I decided to stop applying for jobs.
At least for now!
Its reli hard to labour into His rest, but I will cast this care unto Him for now :)

Time has juz been given multiple wings I guess!
It flew past sooo fast this last sem!
Before I know it there's onli 3 more weeks left b4 the exams!

N yes the highlight of this post was to talk about Fearless F.U.N. Camp!!!
AWESOME!!!
F.U.N. = Faith, Unity and a little bit of Nonsense :P
Indeed, my team SWORDFISH experienced amazing stuff, esp. the worship at night where the presence was just so strong and lingered on and on and on!!
Very, very blessed by teacher Ronnie and teacher Mei Jie too as they took turns to minister the Word for the camp; there were 3 sessions in all!

In Matthew 13 it speaks about the life of Jesus and how he saves us at the Cross!
The gospel is GOOD NEWS that is FULFILLED in our lives through Jesus Christ!!

Next was how Jesus has compassion for us even when we are weak and fail :)

Last but not least, 'This great light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine!'
This song sums up who we already are!
That we cannot be Jesus but we can be LIKE Jesus!! :D

All these plus 2 days of playing hard at both Fort Canning Park and Sentosa!
And awesome food at the hotel too :P
All in all we had 7 meals = perfectly fed at this camp!!!

Just a simple 2D1N camp but so, so much to takeaway!
Will always remember this first camp; it has taken a special place in my heart! :)

2012: The Year of Unceasing Fruitfulness

Be prepared to bear much fruit, and a different one every month!
All of us are that blessed man who is planted by the waters, relaxing and taking in good food and nutrients while we bear fruit effortlessly :)

Work is the outcome of effort;
Fruit is the outflow of life
- Joseph Prince

Simply beautiful :)

And the keys are simple yet powerful, like how God always works.
One word.
Meditation.
'Hagah' in Hebrew.
Meaning to mutter, muse or speak.
Simple but powerful!

Psalm 1:2-3

But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.
