Truly we dont need to know too much.
Faith is simply seeing Jesus at the Cross.
And knowing what He died to give us today.
Victory over sin.
The righteousness of God.
Healing.
Prosperity.
Wisdom.
Favour.
Juz to name a few tat I know :)

It is often misunderstood that grace advocates laziness or sloppiness.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
Let's look at what Paul says:

'But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them - yet not I but the grace of God that was with me.' (1 Cor 15:10)

Notice he worked harder under God's grace.
Something that I couldnt reli understand in the past.
Now I begin to see why it can even be true in the first place.
When u truly understand Grace, it'll simply cause you to fall in love with Jesus over and over again :)))

Let us not look to ourselves but unto the author and finisher of our faith.
He started a good work in us and He, not us, will be the one who completes it.

Simply love the following devo:

Behold The Glory Of Jesus In You

2 Cor 3:18
'But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.'

When you look in a mirror, what do you see? Of course, you see yourself. But God does not want you to see yourself in the natural. You may be sick, weak, broke and depressed, yet God wants you to see yourself the way He sees you - healed, strong, rich and whole because Christ is in you. (Col 1:27)

God wants you to behold as in a mirror the glory of His Son who is in you by His Spirit. As you do this, His Word says that you are being transformed from glory to glory - from poor to rich, sick to healed, loser to winner!

The world may say to you, "It can't be that easy. You can't be transformed just by beholding the glory of Jesus. No, you must do something about you. If you don't put in effort, nothing will happen. If you don't start making changes, nothing will change."

But the world will never understand that as you are beholding the glory of the Lord, who is the successful one in you, you are being transformed from a failure to a success. And this is not accomplished by any effort of yours to get ahead in life, but by the Spirit of the Lord! (Zec 4:6)

As you behold the glory of the Lord who is the healthy one in your sick body, you are transformed from sickness to health. And this is not accomplished by any effort of yours to keep fit and eat well, but by the Spirit of the Lord!

My friend, what can be easier than beholding the beauty of the Son? So stop focusing on yourself and your efforts. Look away from these things and begin to behold the glory of Jesus who is in you right now, and you will begin to behold the miracles that you need!

God's love

Its good to let His love wash over me once again :)
When the love of God touches you, u're simply awed.
Amazed.
Stunned.
All understatements.
He takes care of the smallest details in my life.
No matter how insignificant they may seem to others.
Today I realised once again how small I am.
How insignificant and minute.
And yet, the Creator of the Universe came down for me.
Jesus was literally the most down-to-earth person I ever knew.
He was far above every power, might and dominion.
And yet He came down to Earth.
In His eyes we are smaller than even an atom.
Yet He came.
Its one thing to give from a distance.
But He came.
Personally.
Close enough to touch.

And boy when He comes, everything changes!!
And I mean everything!!! :P

He became the perfect substitute.
Took away my condemnation.
Lifted me up.
To be completely righteous and accepted before God.
Oh how rich I am in Christ!!
How blessed!!
Once again I was reminded that everything came from Him.
I juz receive it with open arms :)
Freely.
God gives according to the richness of His grace.
Something that we cant even begin to fathom.
Thank you Jesus :)

The Wedding

Crispian's short speech was so touching it made me tear.

Wisdom for exams :)

Wad a frenzy day on Sunday.
Left church and chionged down to Hougang via 80.
Jing Hui never fails to amaze me, the things that she does :P
Thank God Kailin lived nearby and persuaded Felly to go haha :D
What followed next was something super fun that I've never been a part of b4, lolx...
Felly became some 'character' blindfolded and led along all the way to Pungol Park.
What transpired next was juz action, fun and laugher! :D
Gosh, and I had to leave early cos' of Midterms and quizzes :(

Anyway, I muz share wad happened ytd.
Decided to slp in rather then do last min studying for Prob & Stats Midterm.
Met Weilin at ard noontime.
Old Chang Kee's Beef Stew Rice still rocks :)
Then looked thru the 45 assignment qns for abt 45 mins.
Went in, sat down and waited.
Finally, the time came to flip over the test papers.
3 Qns, of which the 2nd and 3rd I fully understood and knew how to do.
They were modified from the 45 qns.
1st qn oso acty.
I got the ans but not sure if the presentation correct ornot.
Which means...
That I got at least 80% for my Midterm, and the weightage is 30%!!!
Thank God for wisdom.
In letting me noe which ones of out the 45 to focus on :D
I feel as if there's a high chance of getting full marks haha :P

Then today was Calculus quiz.
God is still faithful.
Didn't manage to study in depth but the qns I know how to do!! :P
It has reli been quite awhile since I felt that tests were so easy haha :D
But I suppose that when Jesus becomes ur wisdom, its hard not to feel this way!
Praise Him forever and ever! :)

Knowledge

The perils of knowing too much.
When we know too much, we think too much.
When we think too much, we assume too much.
When we assume too much, we deduce too much.
When we deduce too much, we evaluate too much.
When we evaluate too much, we conclude too much.
When we conclude too much, we fix our perceptions too much.
Which can become dangerous.
'Cos we cant live by faith.

Recently, there was a sudden influx of knowledge, or even revelation.
I absorbed it in the following manner:
Confusion.
Doubt.
Excitement.
Liberation.

How do I live in light of this?
I am but human.

'Just as I am I come before You
With no pretense I draw near
You made a way through the Cross
My redemption's secure, my Saviour

If not for Your grace how can I stand
To worship You with my heart and strength

Decided to take a break.
Seeking.
Searching.

In light of everything else the naked truth bares itself.
God is good :)
