My first attempt at an "emo" post... Do gimme ur comments, lolx :)
I realised tat there are many stuff tat we shdnt be worrying abt, cos there is reli no point... Sometimes life throws a punch at you and you're breathless for that moment... The recovery is impt, cos it shows ur attitude and determines how u move on in life... The same thing can happen to 2 diff ppl but yet the outcomes r not the same, lolx... Too often we wanna simplify things but we noe tat certain things juz cant be simplified... Too often we try to shrug things away and pretend tat it doesnt matter but in our heart we noe it does...
I realised tat indeed the more knowledgeable u become, u discover tat actually u truly onli know so little, and its reli ironic... Sometimes we think we noe something or someone very well, but the fact is tat we're juz viewing it/them thru our own perspectives and the truth prob isnt like... But anyway, talking abt truth, who can say for sure wad is truth anyway? In a corrupted world like this, false things become true and the truth becomes distorted till it seems false =/
I realised tat friends are really, really (x infinity) very important... God said tat he did not create man to be alone all by himself... Over the first half of 2008, I saw how all my friends around me played very important roles in many diff issues big and small, without ANY one of them I would prob not be where I am today :) If u're reading this my friend, I juz wanna say tat I appreciate you for being a part of my life and for all that you've done! :)))
Ok, on a side note, I shall tok abt today's badminton session, which will prob be my last b4 sch starts :( My new badminton shoes reli made a diff, lolx... Attempted a few jump shots quite successfully and could reli move ard much easier :) There was this part where I was playing behind the courts with Serene and Felly and they suddenly wanted to learn how to pick up shuttlecocks (as in juz by using the racket and not ur hands) so they ask me to teach them... I was abit lost in teaching but it was quite retarded seeing all of us there picking up shuttlecocks again, and again, and again, and again, and ... LOL rite? Anyway the worst thing was tat I left my badminton racket there :((( Shd be able to get it back but I'm already missing it... The racket 真的是跟我一起有福同享,有难同甘! Hope tat it doesnt get insomnia without me! :D

10 Promises To My Dog

A very enriching, touching and meaningful movie, 10 Promises To My Dog describes the relationship a young girl has with her dog and how it was there for her throughout the different phases of her life... The movie portrays simple lessons in love and life, and the importance of family and friends... There will be moments of joy and laughter, and some heart-wrenching scenes too... Do remember to bring ur tissues, lolx... Definitely a muz-watch show!! :D

Youth Day Service! =)
Wad can I say? Totally a blast! N I'm super encouraged by the upcoming worship team la :) Their willingness to serve even though they may not be sure of everything reli impacted me and I saw once again God's promise in 2 Cor 12:9, tat indeed His strength is made perfect in our weakness! Today was a living testimony of tat very verse! :D I shall come up with a list of ppl to thank:
Li Min: for supporting me right from the start and coordinating the keyboardists for me :)
Moses & Amos: for taking up the challenge when I asked them to lead the Youth Day worship and being leaders in their own right, plus leading the whole team in prayers and casting visions :)
Isabel: for trusting and believing in herself, and being so committed to serve even though she only made it for 2 of the practices :)
Jing Hui: for having the simple faith to listen as I teach and reli juz follow all my instructions :)
Si Hao: for being very real with the whole team and always striving to gif his best in his drumming :)
Joel: for learning to be more flexible when playing with the whole team :)
Shu Ting: for always being with the whole team and reminding us that in the midst of playing all the technical stuff, our ultimate focus shd be on worshipping God :)
Jing Ping: for being ever so ready to serve and helping out by coordinating the guitarists and bassists :)
Han En: for taking up the challenge to serve as a vocalist and reli putting her trust in the Lord :)
Yi Yin: for agreeing without hesitation when I asked her to serve and reli learning alot abt how to depend on God thru the whole process :)
Zhi Yuan: for doing a fantastic job with the lighting and oso helping out in some parts of the visual :)

Gab, Ben, Chengyi, Enz, Yile, Shuqi, Liyun: This bunch of ppl are simply amazing!!! They sacrificed their time, came down and reli listened and worked things out with their respective mentees... Much of the credit goes to them for sorting things out and ensuring that the whole worship runs smoothly... Reli shows the importance of mentors! :D :D :D
Of cos not forgetting to mention the rest of the comm ppl, Chengxin, Ying Dan and Kai Qi for organising and coordinating the whole event... Thank you guys for giving me the chance to exp. something tat I've nv exp. b4 :)))
