Chionged down to Auntie Limin's place today after class, saw Jasper and company at the lift lobby... Its reli a small world la :) Played this super addictive card game where u need strategy and abit of luck... Really very fun! :D Had curry chicken with rice cooked personally by Limin and it was super delicious, plus we ordered Canadian pizza after tat and bought ice cream so it was indeed a feast! Went into Limin's musician rm after dinner and relived all the memories... I could still remember the very first song I learnt there just b4 I started to serve in Childern Ministry as a pianist... 深触我心 was one of the songs tat I played on the very first time I served, which was the Good Friday in 2005... How time reli flies! :D Love the nostalgic feeling as I jammed away with Thomas and Yong Jie in tat tiny room... B4 I knew it, it was already 10 plus and as much as we would love to stay, but all good things muz come to an end, and reluctantly we each parted and went our own separate ways... I'm reli looking forward to seeing Mdm Low, my ex-piano teacher, on Friday evening... It has been super long since I last saw her :)

So he shall open, and no one shall shut;
And he shall shut, and no one shall open.

First Times
For the first time...
Issit me or wad?
I'm like, "CNY is here already?!?"
Somehow I dont reli feel excited abt CNY, maybe onli the angpao part? :P
I'm more of like relieved...
Relieved that I can get 2 days off from sch...
Seriously my timetable is quite good, but somehow I'm still glad tat there's a break :)
Need to brush up on my Econs, going crazy with Pareto Efficient points and Edgeworth Boxes...
Then on Mon there was this Samuelson diagram but apparently I couldnt understand it although part of my name is in it, lolx...
Math was ok for the first 2 weeks but now its starting to get abit more challenging...
I dont regret taking 3 instead of 2 math modules this sem though, shall gif my best to save my drowning GPA :D
Currently I'm juz waiting for this week to end, then look forward to the reunion dinner over the weekend :)))
On a lighter note, God has reli blessed me with good relationships in this new year, be it in my family, in church, or in sch :)
At least for those tat I put in effort :D
2 simple quotes hav always followed me throughout the past few years, and I believe fully in them cos I've experienced it personally :
- I took MRT to Pasir Ris first so that I could get a seat to Boon Lay while going to sch this morning
- I ate at the NIE canteen after being in NTU for more than one semester
- I went jogging around the whole academic block in NTU

Cabbed into NUS then went Prince George's Park (PGP) and into Kai Lun's rm... Super cool la, his rm like hotel rm with aircon and personal toilet!! Can camp inside there whole day lor... Eat, slp, study can liao... Sounds like a gd strategy :D

Currently I'm in Kai Lun's rm typing all this on his labtop and he fell asleep on his bed while reading his Chem text :D Maybe I should attempt my tutorial now, although the room temperature tells every single cell in my body that its time to fall asleep :)

HE 208
Public Finance : The field of economics that analyzes government taxation and spending policies.
How cool is it when Chapter One Paragraph One of ur Econs textbk has your name in it? Mine has :)
"The year is 1030 BC. For decades, the Israelite tribes have been living without a central government. The Bible records that the people have asked the prophet Samuel to 'make us a king to judge us like all the nations' [1 Samuel 8:5]. Samuel tries to discourage the Israelites by describing what life will be like under a monarchy:
Been sick for the past few days and I'm not fully well yet :( Stayed home whole of Sat to "recuperate", when in fact I juz slept and ate and slept and ate (you get the point). Most boring Saturday ever, haha...
Thank God for Sundays, seriously :D
The warmth in church melted my heart :)
Edmund came, and I was glad I managed to get a seat beside him!
Had lunch together after tat and I sent him to the bus stop...
Did I make a good first impression? Onli God knows :)
After tat was shopping time!!
I guess I was desperate...
I needed a pair of shoes...
Raided Bugis Street but to no avail...
Still, I must thank Han En, Li Yun and Felly for pei-ing me :)
In the end, I bought...
1 shirt at Bugis Street and 1 pair of shoes at Peninsula! (extra thanks to Felly)

Random statement : Good Luck to all the O Level ppl! :)

New Year Resolutions
It would be a lie to say I'm not affected... It's like the whole world is doing better than me in the first sem... How ironic, tat after learning abt contentment the challenge comes... Sometimes God is juz so humorous :D
It appears tat alot of ppl write abt their New Year Resolutions so I am going to attempt to do the same, but some stuff will be quite vague so bear with me :)
NYR'09
1. Learn to be braver n bolder
-Give more, Receive more, Pray more, Cherish more, Appreciate more, Love more :D
2. Treasure friendships
-Show appreciation to those who care :D
3. Study harder
-I juz believe I can do better then what I currently have now :D
4. Ask for God's revelation
-Nothing can beat this! :D
4 things!
Seems like alot to me but because of His grace I will be able to do it, and do it well :)))

Second Sem
Tml's the start of second sem... Abit apprehensive but at the same time I cant wait to see all my friends again :) Need to work hard this time round; bring my caps up a little :) I believe, like always, that there's much to look forward to... New challenges, new opportunities, and above all else I pray that I'll learn abit more abt contentment :D Today's sermon was reli gd in the sense that it clarified what contentment is, and what it is not! It is a lesson that one can learn for a lifetime :)
"Contentment is not the fulfilment of what you want but the realization of how much you already have"

Happy 2009! :)))
B4 u start attacking this post, scroll down towards the end and play the video first... Let it load then come up back here and read :D
2008 has been the best year of my life so far! In many, many aspects. It was a year where I had the chance to do what I wanted to do, try things I wanted to try and basically be bolder and braver than I have ever been.
There were many moments of joy, sadness, laughter and tears, but through it all I believe God has made me a better person! :D He has molded me in such a way that only when I look back now will I truly understand why he put me on that particular path. Although I didn't always feel good about myself, He loved me just as I am and accepted me as who I am :) I will always be His beloved Child, wonderfully and purposefully made :D
In 2008, there have been several wonderful people in my life, many of whom I conveniently take for granted :( This post is a tribute to all my family and friends and I hope that 2009 will be a better year ahead for all of us! :D
