Drained

Took my first paper ytd.
And killed many brain cells.
Could only secure like at most half the marks.
Gosh.
Hardest math paper so far for all 3 sems.
Well the only good thing is tat its over.
That module.
1 down, 4 more to go.
The thing is, I've got less than 2 days to study for 2 modules.
Somehow, it has come to this.
Which leaves me with 2 options.
Mug like I've never mugged b4 the next few days.
Or juz mug normally.
Like 6 hours a day.
The latter is appealing, but somehow I'm convinced its not enough.
Oh well, I may juz come up with a 3rd option and do crazy stuff, haha :P
I'm juz not used to mugging too hard on weekends.
Its sortof my lifestyle le, cant reli change much.
At most mug like 5 hours over the 2 weekend days?
And that's super rare.
I did it like a few times my entire life?
Anyway, I'm juz rambling and raving here.
Dont take me seriously :D
Feel like giving up.
But I know I cant.
I can only pray tat tml will be a better day.
Pray tat I'll be refreshed!
To continue mugging.
Till it doesnt matter anymore.
Its reli hard to stop myself.
From slacking, playing, chilling.
I think I'm not cut out to be a uni student.
Cant take the workload.
Too much content.
Whenever I juz think of the amt I hav to absorb its enough to induce a headache.

I've decided to take a stand on certain things.
To believe in what I think is right, even when the whole world thinks its wrong.
Ok maybe not the whole world, but it seems like the whole world to me.
Who defined right and wrong in the first place anyway?
Darkness is the absence of light.
But is a wrong the absence of a right?
Or issit something that's merely defined by customs, traditions and culture.
Is there an absolute right/wrong to everything?
All of us probably hav our own definitions of wad is right and wrong.
And for certain things, we say that its a 'gray area'.
But thank God that He doesnt judge us based on right and wrong.
Jesus came so that all the wrong things could be and they have already been made right.
Jesus didnt come to introduce us to a set of rights or wrongs.
He came to show us the true meaning of love, which covers every wrongdoing in our life :)
I'm not advocating sin; I'm juz telling u who Jesus is and why He had to come.
Sin is not a problem to Him.
'Cos I believe that He is better at saving than I am at sinning.
Do you?
Anyway He came to save sinners, not righteous people.
For this I'm glad I belong to the former and not the latter.
By His blood I hav eternal redemption.
Forever accepted before God :)
He was the perfect offering.
And we need to start realising what He truly purchased for us at the Cross!
Forgiveness of sins is juz the tip of the iceberg.
He definitely did so much more when He hung there 2000 years ago!

Yay I juz secured a date with Brandon after my exams.
Time to catch up after a loooong while :D
Sometimes I dont know hu to turn to.
But God nv fails to put diff people in my life :)
I guess I need to learn to let go too.
Holding on can be fatal sometimes.
Or rather many times.
Letting go creates uncertainty.
Maybe fear?
Doubts?
But it is such an impt lesson to learn.
I'm glad I'm always learning.
Seeing things from a diff perspective.
What is the truth?
It'll take a book to fully explain.
But when you know the truth, it will set u free indeed :)

Watch it in the front few rows; you can literally feel the earthquake!! :D

Above all else, the show establishes the power of love.

Even imperfect, human love.

A selfish dad can sacrifice himself for his son.

A promising young man can sacrifice himself for total strangers.

A famous president staying in his sinking ship.

Oh man that scene was most touching.

In the midst of the crisis.

When all telecommunications could fail anytime.

Yet he stated the plain truth.

Started quoting Psalm 23.

'The Lord is my shepherd...'

What do you do in times like this?

When human limits are hopelessly thrown out in the open.

It takes courage.

But to make a stand coupled with love; now that's really heartwarming to watch :)

Humanity.

Civilization.

Do we lose it in dark times such as this?

Happy Birthday to Weiting and Kaiqi!
These 2 ppl have been an essential part of my life :)
She threw me into the deep ocean of mentoring.
He showed me the meaning of friendship.
Thank you for being part of my life :)

Exams are creeping close.
Stealthily, steadily, surely.
Stalking me.
Feeling the heat.
Yet I'm choosing to ignore it.
Is this stupidity?
Only God knows.
Literally.

Sometimes I juz feel like shutting myself out from people.
Esp. christians.
My non-christian frens make me feel comfortable.
At least they are real.
And they dont try to spiritualise everything.
Christians supposedly know wad is love.
But somtimes they think they hav the solution to every problem.
By quoting verses, saying wad they think is God's will etc.
Wad is God's will?
It is not some 'higher' way of God that we can only guess at.
A convenient way to excuse ourselves when we say we want to do God's will.
So what is God's will?
Take a look at Hebrews 10:5-10
In short, Christ's Death Fulfils God's Will
Particularly like verse 10:
'By that will (the death of Christ thru the Cross) we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
This is it.
You want to do God's will?
Believe in what Christ has done for you at the Cross.
Believe, and receive the blessings :)

It is not easy to live in the world.
Romans 12:2 is so very important.
Many a times I bring worldly values and concepts into Christianity.
No wonder obstacles pile up in front of me like mountains.

Jesus wasnt making sense when he said that the first will be the last and vice versa.
Does it mean that we purposely try to become last so as to be first?
I dont think so.
In a sense only Jesus totally fulfilled wad he said.
He was God.
He was first.
Yet for our sake he became last.
Dying at the Cross as the Sinner of sinners.
Only to be honoured again as he sits as the Father's right hand today.
Being first yet again.
Love has only 4 letters, but 4 complete books cannot fully describe Jesus' love for us!



Did I ever tell you that Christianity is illogical?

E-learning week.
Tat's y u see me here at this hour in the night.
The past week has been most eventful, with many things going on and happening ard me.
God is reli humorous, the way He leads me into the diff situations.
Oh well, wadever it may be, I pray that I keep Him in the centre of everything :)
