Adrenaline Rush!

Observe the picture. My partner-in-crime trying to steal the Batmobile together with me, lolx :D Being the naive crooks tat we were, we tried to unlock the car door several times but to no avail.

Haha ok I was juz joking :D
We did not try to break into the car; it was merely a pose in remembrance of someone's significant day :)

Ok I can see tat my blog almost died-ed but at the same time this means tat I'm successfully studying and mugging, lolx... Mugged at nite for the past 3 days at Mac and hopefully I'm getting somewhere... 21 days to the first paper juz seems way too near =/ Thank God 27 days later it'll be all over! :)

Had a minor accident while parking on Fri and I almost freaked out! At least everything's more or less settled already now and I muz say I learnt quite alot? But this kinda thing once is more than enough, I'm definitely sure of tat :D

People are travelling often these days man. While two came back from Japan & Korea, another one flew off to Turkey :) My turn in June! Although Laos may not be as exciting, haha :P

Hmmm I muz say tat to stay disciplined I wont be posting as often online here. Looking at ard one post a week? Maybe nothing at all during tat dreaded week. I promise I'll be back after the exams :)

What exactly happened?
The Straits Times reported on 2nd March that David stabbed his Prof, slashed his own wrists and committed suicide by jumping off a building...
How true is this?
Why did I even bother to write this post?
I chanced upon a fb grp and read more abt some of the facts and stuff that actually happened...
Indeed this case is becoming more and more mysterious...

From this point onwards, everything that I mention is purely my opinion from what I hav gathered from various blogs, fb grps and other sources.
And it will be a super long post.
READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

First, the media likes to over-sensationalize and may tend to report stuff that is not 100% true.
In this case, a few important points muz be noted.

1. There was no wound at all on David's wrists (contrary to what was reported)
2. There was actually a wound on his neck (which was not reported)

Why was there such a discrepancy in the reporting?

Next David was portrayed in such a way which says that he is some depressed loner who didnt manage to do well for his FYP, and plus when he lost the ASEAN schlorship became even more depressed until the point that he decided to stab his prof and then commit suicide.

However, friends who personally knew him were disgusted by this description of him. Furthermore, he was the president of some Engineering Club. Do loners become presidents of major clubs in sch? U may think that there is a possibility but in my opinion I dont think so.

Going on to the Prof. He was probably the only one who knew what exactly happened but why is he keeping silent? U can mention confidentiality issues to support him but to me it just becomes v suspicious when u choose not to say anything. David's family came down on Monday and wanted to see the Prof on Tues but was told tat he was still in ICU. Then how come he was discharged and went home on Wednesday? I dunno, maybe he recovers faster than the avg person?

David's family arrived on Monday evening in Singapore and asked to see the body but their request was denied. Only on the next day were they allowed to see his body, but even then it was only from the neck upwards. Why is this so? The police mentioned some Singapore law but how true is this?

We go on to speak about motives. From the investigation we know that after the incident, David's family visited his room and found that his computer was on with his MSN Messenger still online. If you had intended to injure/kill someone would u juz leave ur comp on and then proceed with ur plan? Furthermore the nite b4 David was online playing games. Shouldnt he have been planning cautiously on wad to do the next day? It makes it even more strange that he still carried his towel and 1.5 litre bottle when he went to see the Prof. Wouldnt a simple weapon suffice in this case? If he had the intention to injure/kill his Prof, why bring all these unnecessary items along?

Finally, we know abt the 2nd incident that happened a few days later. Apparently Mr Zhou Zheng was found hanged in his balcony by his roommate. Obviously there are onli 2 options. Either you believe that it's juz super coincidental that 2 deaths happened within the same week in NTU or the two cases are related (i.e. ZZ's death is related to David's death)

Some background info on ZZ.
He was a project officer/lab technician who helps and teach students during their lab who was juz transferred to NTU on Monday. (day of the incident) It is highly possible that on that day itself from 10am to 11am he was also looking for the same Prof and 2 others to approve that he will be stationed in the lab and oso to get the lab key. And of course you need to walk around the Profs' office area to look for them. Was he very near the scene when the actual incident happened? That is for the police to find out.

Some questions we need to ask ourselves...
Was David reli tat desparate enough to stab his Prof in the first place?
Was it only the 2 of them in the Prof's office, or was there a third person?
If there was a third person, could he be the one who was chasing David?
Who actually stabbed who?
Why did the Prof remain silent?

In view of what you have read above, I'm not sure how u view this whole incident(s) now. Like many people out there, I am not trying to say who is wrong or who is right. A life has been lost and I believe all that we want to know is simply the truth. If the truth is really just that David stabbed his Prof, and then committed suicide, and all the evidence is able to show this, then of course we have to accept it. But what if there's more to it than meets the eye? When a person is dead he cannot lie, but at the same time he becomes the easiest target to take all the blame. The truth doesnt always come at an easy price, but I still believe that we must not compromise and press on to reveal what time will eventually tell.
