Hospitals & Jabs

It was super 夸张。
Had to queue to take my temperature when I reached Raffles Hospital this morning.
So totally like tat time SARS la.
Then after tat wear mask go in, lolx...
And the mask is irritating.
Or shd I say Swine Flu is irritating, lolx :P
Had my medical checkup then went over to another clinic at Bras Basah for 3 jabs!!
One on each arm and the last one on my butt =/
Kena poke 3 times then still need to pay $95!
I got nothing to say lor.

After tat had our meeting.
N I'm promoted to Marketing Head!
Though I had absolutely no exp with marketing b4!! :D
Praise God! :)
Discussed our pre-expedition plan over lunch at Han's outside National Library.
Ok tat's 3 prepositions in one sentence! Haha Wadever! :P
Swine flu alert went up to orange :(
Pray tat the trip wont be postponed.
Shall declare it in Jesus' name! :)

One Love Lunch@TP!

Set foot into TP once again.
Besides last Fri when I went there for the charity run, think the last time I went TP was during its open hse in '04.
Reached the main bus stop.
Fished out my book.
"To Kill a Mockingbird"
Can imagine all the diff reactions.
But yup I havent read this book yet.
Heard its super good :)
Was engrossed in it till Felly appeared in front of me, haha :D
Followed her into TP.
Meet her friend Kiat Wee.
Settled down at Design Sch Canteen.
Jing Hui was there already.
How supportive, lolx...
Many new frens came.
I tried to socialise.
Realise I'm not v gd with new faces :P
Nonetheless the whole exp was fun :D
Soon it was time for Felly's lesson.
And I went to camp in the library.
The book stole my attention.
I didnt even notice Yi Qi when she came and sat beside me, lolx...
Went to crash Felly's Econs Lecture after tat.
Not too bad.
Sortof rekindled my interest in econs :)
Glad tat I could clarify all her doubts :D
If onli Uni Lecturers ended all their lectures way b4 time, haha :P
All in all it was a day well spent!

Friendship :)

I asked myself b4 what it means to me.
Am I doing the right thing?
Am I reacting the right way?
Is this how it's gonna be?

Over the years I've come to realise a few things:
In any kind of friendship, it takes two hands to clap.
We should seek to give more than we receive.
And bring Jesus into ur friendship :)

I used to be reli quiet, not toking unless I'm spoken to.
Didnt reli noe how to communicate with ppl.
Come to think of it now it's quite funny.
And it used to be quite bad.
I would sit alone during service and go off alone after it ends.
All my replies would be one-word answers, lolx...

But God knew there was more than that in me.
He wanted the best for me.
Becos He loved me!
He began by touching my life.
And I began to open up.
It is a skill I suppose.
Learning how to become vulnerable.
You risk being hurt by those u truly love.
But nonetheless it is a risk worth taking :)

Because of what He has done on the Cross,
today I am no longer the same.
I've learnt to love, to live, and to let go :)
Life is a wonderful journey,
and the friends u make along the way make the path ahead clearer.
They make the whole journey more exciting and meaningful.
In a friendship, there is acty no right or wrong.
All these will pale in comparison.
There's onli how much u love ur friend :)

This love, it is a wonderful thing.
We love, because the Creator of Heaven & Earth first loved us :D
It is a love so great that it cannot be fully described in words.
I can onli express my heartfelt gratitude to all those who love me.
Thank you for your selfless giving.
I wouldnt be who I am today if not for you :)

Then ytd was my last day at my second home - NTU's Hall 8.
Took the last of my stuff and returned the keys.
Cant believe 2 sems flew past so quickly.
