Its been almost a decade since I last went to Australia, and I've never been to Sydney before!!
Shall visit Hillsong church too; talking abt it already seems so exciting! :)

Before that I was wondering how I should go abt registering for it, but then God has given me choices and now I can choose between 3 or 4 different groups!!

Anyway checkout the lineup for next year's conference:

Joyce Meyer

Joyce Meyer is one of the world's leading practical Bible teachers. A New York Times bestselling author, her books have helped millions of people find hope and restoration through Jesus Christ.

Through Joyce Meyer Ministries, she teaches on hundreds of subjects and has authored over 80 books, which have been translated into over 80 different languages. More than 12 million of her books have been distributed around the world, and in 2007 more than 3.2 million copies were sold.

Louie Giglio

A passionate communicator, Louie Giglio is the Visionary Architect and Director of Passion Conferences, a collegiate movement calling students around the world to lives that reflect their Creator. Through international gatherings, Passion invites students everywhere to live for what matters most: the glory of God. Louie is also the Pastor of Passion City Church in Atlanta, Georgia, a local community of faith with the dna of the Passion Movement.

Steven Furtick

Author of Sun Stand Still, the heart of Steven's message is revolutionary faith and how to approach every experience from a visionary perspective. As a young voice in the Church with wisdom beyond his years, his passion for seeing God's purposes fulfilled in our day is igniting a fire in the city of Charlotte and throughout the United States.

Steven holds a degree in communication from North Greenville University, and the Master Divinity degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He lives in the Charlotte area with his wife, Holly, their two sons and their new baby girl.

Joseph Prince

For more than two decades Pastor Joseph Prince has taught on the truth of who God is and has opened our eyes to see in a new and fresh way the incredible grace of an amazing God. He is the Senior Pastor of New Creation Church, a 20,000 member Church in Singapore and his life is an example and a testament to obedience to, and unshakable belief in, God’s word. Friendly and engaging, his messages are deeply impacting and will leave you feeling a fresh encounter with God and a deeper understanding of who you are in Him.

Chris Tomlin

One of the premier songwriters of today, Chris Tomlin is shaping the language of worship for generations present and future. And yet his gifts are rooted in one central truth, that God is the center of everything.

"True worship, worship in spirit and truth, has never been and will never be a trend. This style of music may be a trend, but that's because God's blowing a fresh Wind of His Spirit in so many people who are coming to realize that anything that just builds us up as people isn't worth much. What gives God the spotlight is important. And that's all we're about." - Chris Tomlin

Matt Redman

Matt has been leading worship full-time since the age of 20 and this journey has taken him to countries such as South Africa, Japan, India, Australia, Germany, Uganda, Croatia and the Czech Republic. His early compositions include The Heart of Worship, Better is One Day and Once Again.

Matt is also the author of four books which all centre around the theme of worship. His most recent release, Mirror Ball, delves into what it means to reflect on God's dazzling radiance.

And of cos not forgetting the Hillsong team the Houstons, Darlene, Reuben Morgan, Joel & Julia Abell!!! :)

Are you excited yet??? :D

Freedom

Definitions:

1. exemption from external control, interference, regulation, etc.

2. the power to determine action without restraint

Both are taken from dictionary.com (Copyrighted)

So what does it take to be free?
Is it simply juz to do what you want whenever you want?
Or that you are not under anyone or anything and free to do as you wish?

Somehow I used to think that power = freedom.
I thought that the relationship was proportional.
But since then I have come to think otherwise.
Juz take a look at some of the most powerful and influential people ard us.
Some could cause stock markets to crash if they wanted to.
Others can determine the livelihood of thousands of employees in a split second.
Yet, are these powerful people truly free?
Free to live wildly, laugh till their stomachs ache, and love others crazily!

During the Legacy camp, Pastor shared that no one can be a better you than you.
You are the best at being you!
God can bypass any kind of personality and still use you mightily!!
Once we know that its nothing to do with us and all about Him this point will become clearer.
He also shared that we are only truly free when we are free to fail.
That is the freedom that Christ purchased for us at the Cross!

'For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.'
2 Cor 5:21

Only when we know that our entire lifetime of sins are forgiven,
that every deed and thought has already been judged in the body of Christ,
will our conscience be at rest and at peace!!
This is the true freedom that only Christ can bring!!
Only He can set you free!

'Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.'
John 8:36

Knowing the truth that God bankrupt heaven to give you Jesus and thus you qualify for every and any blessing in Christ!
Knowing that today God the Father can never ever be angry at you again and there is no more judgement and condemnation because Christ took it all at the Cross!
Knowing that you are the righteousness of God Himself and your right standing with Him is eternal regardless of what you do or dont do will set you free!

Indeed, liberation tastes sweet :)
It produces that gleam in your eye and a skip in your step :)
Knowing that life is meant to be enjoyed to the fullest :)

Fun, Joy & Laughter

The trip to JB was super epic! :D
We played paintball, shopped around in Jusco and headed for an awesome seafood dinner in some ulu pandan place LOL!
It was super tiring but fantastic nonetheless!
Got a taste of wad its like to drive ard in Malaysia :)
Not easy, esp. when the white lines on the road disappear and appear at will.
And it doesnt help that they dont bother to invest in street lamps at night lolx...
The most epic was when we turned into anti-traffic!!!
By His grace and grace alone there was no car turning out when we turned in, otherwise it would most likely have resulted in a head-on collision! >.<
Praise the Lord that he preserved us and protected us!!!
It was truly a miracle that we were unharmed!!!

In Between Exams

Much has transpired in the past few weeks.

GE 2011 has been most exciting!
It was sortof a political awakening for me too.
Didnt care much last time.
But I guess its good to know what both sides are doing/offering =)
For the first time in Singapore history, the opposition captured a GRC!
It marked a beginning of sorts in our political history.
Now what remains to be seen is how Singapore will move forward tgt as a country.
I really hope that everyone can work better to make Singapore a better place.
A place I would feel proud to call my home! :D

Alright, I admit the elections were one of the major distractions for my exam prep :P
At least it was also one of the ways to take a 'break' from mugging lolx...
After tml, its one final ppr one week later!! =)
Cant wait!
June is power-packed!!! :D
Hope United is coming though!

Till then, enjoy this awesome video of one of my fav songs!!! =)
