Pressing on with God's strength

Busy period now, cos quite a few of my students having exams these few weeks and I need to rearrange my whole schedule again... Slotting ppl in here and there, making changes here and there... Reli not easy... Plus juz received news that my grandma is going to undergo a major op on Wed... Its actually a simple op to join back the bones from her hip fracture, but due to her medical background, (ex-stroke patient, high blood pressure and a few other complications) it greatly increases the risk of this op =/ Going down tml night with my relatives and will be praying for her... Dad invited one of our church elders to be there to pray as well... I pray tat God will grant me the peace no matter the outcome of the op... Then still hav to settle payments for the hillsong concert... Well, I reli pray for more of His presence... Need to it to press on amidst all the busyness and uncertainties...

This song reli reflects wad Chengxin shared with me juz now after he came back from Phillipines... Had dinner with him at 5 plus at cs food court then we talked for one hour plus... Apparently he had many insights after he came back... Well if u wanna noe can go ask him, cos it would take many pages of typing to explain everything, lolx...

After he left I saw Jason and Yile a few tables away so went over to say hi... Chatted for awhile b4 leaving... Then saw Jasmine's mum on my way to the interchange... Queued together with her at the POSB to deposit money... It's quite amazing to see so many within such a short time span, lolx...

Oh ya today my bro oso taught me abt the Rubik's cube... Quite interesing sia, not to mention challenging... But its quite fun when u actually see something happening to the cube in ur hand rather then juz anyhow turn here turn there, hahaz... Hopefully I get the hang of it soon...

Btw final count : 62 Agapians going for Hillsong United concert! Ultra cool la! =)

Simple changes...

Some updates in my blog... Added in one of the verses which touched me alot n oso managed to add in a list of songs by my fav songs by hillsong and planetshakers... Do enjoy the music!! =)

Anyway today I went down with my Dad to see my grandma at SGH... She had a fall not too long ago and was admitted to the hospital =/ It was not the first time that this happened and I reli thank God that she did not sustain any head injuries for the unfortunate times tat she fell... I was once again reminded of the importance of gd health... Think it makes alot of difference when u're like 70 years old? Well, better eat well and exercise more man...

After tat went down to Sim Lim Square with my Dad... He was looking for a 2GB memory card for his new phone... The lady in the shop couldnt get the memory card to work initially then she abit paiseh, lolx... We were oso puzzled cos the phone didnt read the memory card after we put it in... In the end spent like half an hour trying to 研究 and we tried other memory cards but still cant work... In the end we left the shop but then going down the escalator halfway suddenly can read liao the original memory card!! Then I realised tat we need to close back the back cover b4 the phone can read, lolx... Cos all along we tested without closing cos v mah fan, hahaz... Went back to the shop and got the memory card with 10% discount cos I think the lady paiseh then sell us abit cheaper, lolx... Summary: When testing Nokia 6500 Slide pls rmbr to close back the cover =)

Anyway here are some updates regarding the Hillsong United concert... As of the writing of this post, there are already 71 ppl confirmed going!!! =) 58 Agapians and 13 frenz... Had abit of trouble sorting out the numbers juz now, lolx... Those who still want tix pls let me noe asap if not we'll buy first liao...

Medical Checkup

Went down to NTU today with Wei Nian for lunch followed by our medical checkup... The waiting time was longer than the actual checkup la, lolx... First had eye test then took a number to go into the rm and see the doctor... He tested me for colour blindness then took my blood pressure and lastly used his stethoscope to check my breathing... After tat got urine test and the chest X-ray was the coolest la... Its conducted in this mobile van and all it takes is like juz a few seconds! Nowadays so high-tech liao, hahaz...

After tat met up with Raymond and went to his hall to take a look... Hall 7's juz beside the new SPMS (School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences) building la, in which I'll be among the first batch of students using it =) The 3 other nearest halls are 1, 4 and 5... Hopefully can get into either of these halls, if not stay at the other end of NTU everyday still muz take shuttle bus to sch... Then plus the morning rush sure super crowded one... Can u imagine taking 30 mins to reach sch when u're already in sch?

left NTU at 4 plus and went down to Bugis... Did some reading in the National Library for abt one hour b4 meeting Simon, Calvin, Sze Min and Li Shien Jie for steamboat at the usual place... Didnt reli eat much cos had to leave at 8 for driving... Sad rite? Anyway driving today was quite challenging... Cant reli get the parallel parking yet, and its quite irritating when I keep having to move forward and reverse juz to get the car in/out of the parking lot... Well at least I got to drive around in some new area today, lolx... So self-comforting =D
