Security

In a world where everything shouts for your attention how do u stabilize yourself?
How do u settle down and move on in life?
Security.
We all want it.
Secure Jobs.
Secure Income.
Secure Friendships.
Secure Home.
Secure this.
Secure that.
We try ways and means.
We look for people.
We try to be in control.
And many a time we end up losing security in the notion of security itself.

There is something that we all must know and agree upon.
Man is limited.
It's a fact.
No matter how smart, talented or witty u you are you have your limits.
If we depend on man, we're doomed to fail.
Man with all his emotions, desires and irrationality.

This is where God must come in.
Please dont misunderstand me.
I'm not trying to promote religion.
Christianity is NOT a religion.
It has become so because man is flawed.
Rather, it is a relationship with the most loving Being in the entire universe.
To many of us, the idea of God is very distant.
Like someone high up in the heavens watching our every move.
This may be true, but its not just that.
He wants to communicate with us.
To love us with a love that is unmatched.
A love so deep that He sent His son to die for us on the Cross.
In a sense it was the darkest moment in history.
When He took all our sins and nailed it to that Cross.
But what was the purpose?
It was a perfect God doing a perfect Work!
He became poor on that cross so that we can become rich!
He was forsaken so that we can be accepted!
He died so that we may live!
He became Sin so that we could become the Righteousness of God!! :D
By His stripes we are healed!
And by His blood all our sins are forgiven!
When He cried, "It is finished!", it was a defining moment.
And I would say that "defining moment" is an understatement!!!
Jesus did not just pay our debt - He overpaid it!!
And what's left over translates into the blessings that we receive by believing in his finished work.
It is a FINISHED work!! :)
We no longer have to work for our blessings :D
We just have to receive it into our lives.
Isnt it wonderful?

The glorious work of Christ on the Cross!

I was born into a Christian family and have been a Christian since young.
But I never truly understood how perfectly perfect the Cross is.
And it is perfectly secure :)
When u begin to realize how deeply loved you are, life will never be the same again!! :D

Linear Algebra I B+
Discrete Math & Number Theory B+

This sem's GPA: 3.76/5
Last sem's GPA: 3.5/5
Overall GPA now: 3.63/5

Thank God for:
1. My Microecons module - last sem I took "Principles of Microeconomics" and got C+, this sem I took "Intermediate Microeconomics" and got B, which is 2 grades up :D

2. My Public Finance module - I did not finish the paper and wasnt sure of ard half the paper; was expecting a C+ or B- but God gave me a B :D

3. I managed to maintain ALL my Math modules at B+, same as last sem :D

4. I was really able to experience Him this time round during the exams. I brought Jesus into the exam hall and He delivered :D

5. I'm blessed with friends who can really study together with me. We shared, discussed, debated and defined the word "Mugging", lolx :D

MAY ALL THE GLORY AND PRAISES GO TO HIM!!!

YEP Bonding Day!

Had lots of fun ytd learning how to sculpt balloons.
Before tat I onli knew how to make the poodle and sword.
Ytd learnt flower and sawn :)




More arty stuff to come.
I didnt noe one pandan leaf can be turned into a grasshopper, lolx :D

Juz tat u didnt see the serious stuff, haha.
I missed a large part of it cos I went to church in the morning.
Isnt God so great! :P
Anyway, things are firming up, with the Pre-Expedition happening this Sat and many other stuff need to be planned for and consolidated as soon as possible.
