Planetshakers Concert / Dad's Bday =)

Planetshakers Concert
Was reli blessed to be able to make it for the Planetshakers Concert ytd evening... N it was superbly good! Met Xin Hui, Jing Hui, Li Yun, Han En, Chengxin and Kaiqi at Expo MRT for dinner... Went to the fd court and ordered some unknown fd to eat =/ Regretted but finished it anyway... Super salty la =( Halfway thru Isabel came and I got my tix! =) Amos oso came and joined us while waiting for his frenz... After dinner saw Joelle, Kailin, Felicia and her fren... Went to the concourse area and crowded around while waiting for the rest... Soon Yi Yong, Joel came along and some of us then proceeded to go in first... Managed to book 2 rows of seats for all our latecomers, lolx... Was bored so took a few pics but nothing much la... Then was standing around then Joelle tapped me on the shoulder... To my surprise, I turned around and saw Chris! (my company mate) Went out and we talked and caught up for quite awhile... He went for some course during the last 3 months in bible college learning abt the various ministries... Quite cool rite? Then now he's teaching Math and Sci in St. Hilda's Sec... Apparently he's oso going for a mission trip tat he planned with 4 other frenz in May... So happening la!!

Anyway after tat the concert started liao... Planetshakers came out first and I tell u it was very good! We went out after awhile and there was reli lots of space to worship Him freely! =) Its reli been a long while since I could worship so freely, jumping around and all... After tat was Tim Hughes and his live band... Though I didnt reli know their songs, but it was quite good too... Had a great time of worship... Then suddenly a very familiar intro was played... Super nice la... Then it hit me! It's "Mighty To Save"... Slightly diff style from Hillsong but still very nice =) Though their songs are not bad, but whenever something familiar plays, tat indescribable feeling juz floods into ur whole being and u noe u're ready to give ur all...

After tat this guy shared his testimony on how Jesus found him... It was real nice his sharing... Simple yet powerful... N I suppose its always better to share your own true story, something tat u exp personally... Not too long, not too short, then followed by and altar call... Praise God for those who received his salvation! =) After Planetshakers came back and ended everything on a high note! Was sweating like mad and almost lost my voice by then but totally enjoyed the whole thing!

After the whole thing went for supper... Took bus 24 and then walked in to 85 market... Saw Hui Ting (sec sch classmate) on the bus and bombarded her with qns abt NTU... Apparently she was on her way home after studying at the airport... Oh man, cant wait to start sch, lolx... Ppl asking me to go this camp tat camp liao... Reli dunno how to choose la... Excited abt uni life but dunno wad to expect =/ Oh well, I shall find out for myself when sch starts...

Dad's Bday
Had family dinner today to celebrate my Dad's bday... Decided on the restaurant in Paramount Hotel in the end... Had the a la carte Buffet... Choice of 52 items to choose from including dessert... Super fattening but I ordered like crazy anyway, hahaz... The food was reli good and super hard to resist, lolx... Treasured the family time together as well, cos its not everytime tat we can to eat together, lolx... After tat went to Marine Parade to shop... Had fun going around with my bro and looking at stuff, hahaz... I think he's a more exp shopper than me, lolx... Then in the end we all took cab home... I think its the first time my whole family took cab together oso, lolx... Oh man, my body hasnt fully recovered from the jumping and shouting ytd, but tat exp was totally worth it! =)
