Wad can I say? Totally a blast! N I'm super encouraged by the upcoming worship team la :) Their willingness to serve even though they may not be sure of everything reli impacted me and I saw once again God's promise in 2 Cor 12:9, tat indeed His strength is made perfect in our weakness! Today was a living testimony of tat very verse! :D I shall come up with a list of ppl to thank:
Li Min: for supporting me right from the start and coordinating the keyboardists for me :)
Moses & Amos: for taking up the challenge when I asked them to lead the Youth Day worship and being leaders in their own right, plus leading the whole team in prayers and casting visions :)
Isabel: for trusting and believing in herself, and being so committed to serve even though she only made it for 2 of the practices :)
Jing Hui: for having the simple faith to listen as I teach and reli juz follow all my instructions :)
Si Hao: for being very real with the whole team and always striving to gif his best in his drumming :)
Joel: for learning to be more flexible when playing with the whole team :)
Shu Ting: for always being with the whole team and reminding us that in the midst of playing all the technical stuff, our ultimate focus shd be on worshipping God :)
Jing Ping: for being ever so ready to serve and helping out by coordinating the guitarists and bassists :)
Han En: for taking up the challenge to serve as a vocalist and reli putting her trust in the Lord :)
Yi Yin: for agreeing without hesitation when I asked her to serve and reli learning alot abt how to depend on God thru the whole process :)
Zhi Yuan: for doing a fantastic job with the lighting and oso helping out in some parts of the visual :)
Han Xin: for coming up with one of the best backgrounds in her powerpoint slides and coming down for every practice although it wasn't required of her :)
Sing Heng: for coordinating the whole sound and ensuring that the whole flow of the worship runs smoothly :)
Gab, Ben, Chengyi, Enz, Yile, Shuqi, Liyun: This bunch of ppl are simply amazing!!! They sacrificed their time, came down and reli listened and worked things out with their respective mentees... Much of the credit goes to them for sorting things out and ensuring that the whole worship runs smoothly... Reli shows the importance of mentors! :D :D :D
Of cos not forgetting to mention the rest of the comm ppl, Chengxin, Ying Dan and Kai Qi for organising and coordinating the whole event... Thank you guys for giving me the chance to exp. something tat I've nv exp. b4 :)))

Extreme Soccer
Played soccer at The Cage today morning, and I muz say that the place is super cool la... The pitches are as large as a typical street soccer court with some kind of netting on both ends of the goalposts... Then the sides are something like walls which can be used to rebounce the soccer ball... Muz reli thank Sean for intro-ing me to that place :) Was one of the first few to play and my teammates were super skilled la, leading to 2 consecutive victories, but after tat we all subbed out cos super tired liao... From then on I played almost every other match, cos we got alot of ppl then juz keep subbing lor... Altogether played abt 5 or 6 matches... N I havent lost some of my defensive skills! :) Shiokness to the max!!! :D

Jogging...
Went jogging with Li Juan in the evening after tuition... It was seriously one of the greatest workouts I had for the past few months... The sweat on my body feels gd, lolx... We ran continuously for 30 mins and I realised I can still run tat long! :D After tat we had dinner at tm food court... Her recommendation of Beef Noodles, and the soup is simply delicious la :) Grabbed dessert too after juz a brief moment of hesitation, lolx... We figured the run was worth it :) After tat was juz toking and more toking... B4 we realised, it was almost 10 and the food court was closing soon... It was indeed time well spent running, eating and sharing...

End of Holidays...
"There are no accidents"
Famous quote by Master 乌龟 in Kungfu Panda, and I think its a fine one... As cartoon as it seems, the movie actually seems quite biblical, talking abt faith and believing in things yet unseen (the Panda's inner potential)... Overall a very gd movie for me, would highly recommend it :)
Today Sing Hian and Zeke came back and visited our church... Was quite surprised to see them but oso happy in a way... Went for breakfast with them then after service oso had lunch with them... My expectations are not high but I'm juz glad to see them again after such a long time...
Oh ya, today was my first drum lesson after the service too... Seems quite cool la... Already made an appt with Huan En to go buy drumsticks on Wed :) It's always so exciting to learn something new! N btw Jarred is oso learning drums!! Can u believe it? Lolx... He's super cute la! :D Haha ok I'm digressing but anyway we learnt abt the diff parts of the drum set today and viewed a few demos... Hope tat the next lesson will be much more fun when we actually get to practise on the real drum set :)
I received my freshmen orientation package recently but I realised tat I cant go for most of the camps, cos I'll be in Korea... Abit sad initially but then I muz believe and trust tat God will prepare the way for me, tat I'll get to know and make new frens... I realised tat this is a lesson I have to learn over and over again, in many diff ways, and God doesnt hesitate to put me in situations to keep learning this lesson, and tat is to reli believe that my future is in His hands, so safe and so secure :) Thank you Father for being there for me always, though I always doubt but You have never ever left me! :D
Last but not least, juz in case u're wondering abt my title, it doesnt apply to me at all, cos my hols are sortof long? :) I juz thought it would be appropriate to empathize with those who're starting sch soon, and esp. those ppl having their exams... Well all the best yea? God has always, is always, and will always be with you! :D

Some Free Time...
I realised tat driving lessons took up quite alot of my time, esp. the last 2 weeks juz b4 my test... Now tat the camp is oso over, the next thing to look forward to will be the Youth Day Service... Supposed to oversee the worship and God has been so cool even though the team is quite new :) Anyway I shall try to fully utilise the remaining time I hav b4 Uni... Abt 1½ mths more :) Have been busy applying online, submitting photos and handling my accommodation in NTU... In the meantime, I shall find stuff to do, like learning drums with JJ and Joel... The first lesson starts this Sunday!! :D N maybe I shall go learn video editing/webpage creating from Yi Qi as well, find something meaningful to do, lolx... Resuming tuition oso sounds gd :) Rest of the time will be spent catching up with old frenz :) Oh ya, my gp (this is the 3rd consecutive mention abt the camp, lol) decided to make a gp shirt, the front design looks something like this:

Happy Belated Father's Day!
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! :D
Ok I used tat title cos it allows me more rm to express my views on diff topics... For a start, I'm still not tat used to my family's Mitsubishi Lancer, though I already got to drive it for like 2 or 3 times? Funny how I find an older car easier to operate than a newer one, lolx... Drove my family to ECP juz now and ate at Jumbo's to celebrate Father's Day... Nice fd and atmosphere... Reli ate to my heart's content =)
Went for Ms. Wong's (now Mrs Wong) wedding on Sunday... Was late cos I wanted to finish writing the comments for other ppl for the youth camp... I think the idea is way cool la, if got time I would want to write something for everyone... Anyway the camp pics are up at the Agapian website (link at the top of my page) so do head down there and look for urself =D I realise tat I hav so many unglam pics publicly displayed, lolx... Anyway let me display some of my fav Paciencia pics below :

Juz in case u didnt noe, all these pics can be found in my previous post as well, lolx... I juz wanted to showcase them specially =)
Anyway, now the next big thing is to coordinate the youth day worship... First time I'm sortof overseeing the whole worship team... Its challenging yet exciting at the same time! =P But I know its gonna be a roaring success, cos God is with us, hahaz... How cliche rite? Well, tok abt believing in ur ppl so tat they believe in u! Well having prac tml and most of them will be there... Look forward to a great time of worship once again! :)))

Youth Camp'08 : Secrets
Totally Awesome!
N PACIENCIA ROX!! :D
Many thanks to the camp committee whose selfless sacrifices made this whole thing possible...
Thank You Si Han oso for assisting me in leading Paciencia, and whose professional acting skills certainly made an impact in our gp skit...
Thank You Li Juan for that 1 hour plus of chat while August Rush was playing, I certainly learnt alot and realised many stuff abt the camp =)
Thank You Zhi Yuan for helping me with lots of admin stuff as well as reminding me of stuff during the cmap...
N many thanks go the rest of the Paciencia members for making this camp experience a memorable one, all of you reli listened to me, although I may not always be right everytime...
On the first day...
There were some opening games, of which H2O was the most fun =) After that we had this treasure hunt and my gp was reli peaceful (we didnt snatch bibles, lolx) and creative, using pics and drawings to show wad we found...
After that we realised that actually the things we found were wad we actually had left for the rest of the day, cos it was part of an amazing race entitled "LOST"... We had to race against time to complete certain tasks at various locations and make it in time to our final destination, which was ECP... Our gp started off first but ended up last, lolx... Well, at least we completed everything and had lots of fun on the way...After that we learnt how to pitch our tents (Yes we're slping at ECP for the first night) and had this teamwork game where everyone's legs were tied together and we had to compete with the other gps to see who could get around this lake within first... Paciencia came in 2nd! :D I know we had only 4 ppl, but I think we had quite abit of teamwork there! Went back to help Kia Heng's gp, cos muz wait till all gps finish then we can eat our dinner, which was BBQ! :))) Played somemore games after the BBQ, then did friendship dance towards the end b4 we broke off to either bathe (but no clothes to change into la) or go rest...
2nd Day...
Was supposed to wake up to watch the sunrise, cant exactly see the sun though, lolx... But the view was nice nonetheless... Climbed tat rocky thingy and stayed there for quite awhile looking out at the sea... Then went to check on my gp gals after they woke up... It's gd to know that they slept well =) Breakfast was Campbell Soup with butter toast, all done up over the BBQ fire, which was quite cool I think... Had quite some time after breakfast so I played Frisbee with the guys... Think I reli love the game! It was a great warmup for the day and its gd to feel the sweat on my forehead after a great workout! What followed was the second part of the amazing race entitled "FOUND", and this time round we ended up in VivoCity... Lunch was at KFC b4 we prepared for our trip into Sentosa...We played many fun games on the beach at Sentosa but the major highlight was the waterbomb finale... I think everyone enjoyed it and we were all looking forward to going back to Agape where we can finally bathe... Night time was the movie session (August Rush) but I spent abt half the time talking to Li Juan... Wanna know wad's it abt? Secret! lol! Anyway it was a nice chatting session la =) Went off to slp after tat cos had driving lesson the next day in the morning...
Day 3...
Realised tat Jason oso had driving lesson at Ubi! So went together with him... He ended abit earlier and offered to wait for me, then we went back to church together... When I realised I was supposed to be some metrosexual figure it was quite stunning for me... But I think I juz made the choice to Break Free, and to do it for my gp! It was totally embarrassing on the stage later tat night but I'm glad I juz did it... After practising for the skit we had lunch and then Si Han was "kidnapped"... We went on a wild goose chase looking for something tat didnt exist and when we came back played the "candles" game and learnt all abt TEAMWORK... Unity indeed is strength, and I reli dunno how I came up with the random idea of blowing back the committee ppl, lolx... Anyway dinner was quite cool cos it was buffet, lolx... But seriously the fd was quite nice, though I didnt reli eat alot... After dinner was our skit, where I juz totally 不顾形象 and tried my v best to act... V 丢脸 but I did it for Pacy!! =) Needless to say, the worship/dance session after that was a blast, and I worshipped like nv b4! :))) Took gp photos after tat b4 forcing myself to leave... Told myself I had to rest for today's driving test...
Driving Test
I shall keep the ending short... To me it was a miracle, my tester was quite impatient and I thought I was done for, 6 mths of effort wasted, cos as I followed him back to his office and saw him tabulate the results, there were like 4 demerit points on one page and 6 demerit points on the other... In the end, I got 18, which meant I juz passed, since at 20 it means a failure... I was super stunned and almost couldnt believe I could officially drive on the roads... After thanking the tester profusely I went out to apply for my driving license... Told a few ppl and found out tat Enz announced it to the whole world after the camp, lolx... Thanks to all who congratulated me, u reli made my day :)))
LOST, FOUND, BREAK FREE
Thanking God for miracles over the past 4 days :)
PACIENCIA ROX!!
LOVE YOU GUYS!! :D

The simple joys in life =)
10 more days to my driving test!
2 more months till sch starts!
It has been a busy week, and there hasn't been time to blog abt everything... Let's focus on the more impt stuff, lolx... For a start, I have indulged in gd fd as you can see =)

Managed to go kite flying too, with Shu Qi and her friend, which I think is a childhood joy =) We went cycling too, plus having a go on the swing and climbing tat ropey thing, if u noe wad I'm toking abt... Still enjoyed kite-flying the most! =)

Been doing lots and lots of driving since last week, almost every day cos of my upcoming test... There hav been ups and downs but I thank God tat things are getting better =) Wish me luck ya?
Oh ya not forgetting the study session at the airport on Monday with Si Han, Serene and Xin Hui (for awhile until her fren came) N I reli studied ok? Managed to do 5 proving qns, 4 of which uses Mathematical Induction, in 2½ hrs, which makes it 30 mins per qn, lolx... Too bad I had to leave early for driving =( Well, there'll be lots of opportunities to study next time, hahaz...
Tuesday was a record, 5 activities in a single day! Taught keyboard, watched Narnia, gave tuition, went for driving, and finally watched Narnia again, lolx... Yes I watched the same show twice on the same day, at $6.50 each, (GV Membership rox!) and I dont regret it =)
Today morning went jogging with Shu Qi at SunPlaza park, then ate breakfast/lunch at Mac... God reli held back the rain =) I was one of the last few ppl to grab the Breakfast set at abt 11.04am? Ate super slowly and toked alot, lolx...
Attended 3 wakes within 2 wks and its reli true tat life and death are not exactly tat far apart... But anyway I suppose its the simple joys in life that spur us on, together with the knowledge tat at the end of our race we hav a heavenly reward waiting for us =) Nobody said life was easy, but God is real and He LOVES us!!! =) And I believe tat is sufficient =)
Note: Life is reli unpredictable... Look at wad I juz received in an email today from my Falcon Scouts teacher-in-charge...
Dear all
I know this will come as a shock to many of you. If it is of any comfort, it is a shock to me too. :) Two announcements...
1. I will be leaving for Beijing for a year at the end of August. Of cos you are welcome to visit me! If not, we can always keep in touch via skype.
2. I am getting married on 15 June 08 at 4pm at Bethesda Cathedral and I would like to have with me people who matter to me and have been a blessing in my life and of cos you are one of them!
I know a lot of you will be very shocked and will have many questions. I am so sorry for informing you so late cos this is quite a last minute thing. Don't be naughty, this is not a shot-gun wedding and I am not pregnant, just that we will be leaving for Beijing very soon. I know the next thing will be "but we didn't even know you are attached".... well, we have known each other as colleagues for a few years now but must admit that this came out of the blue... can only say that life is unpredictable in every sense of the word. The rest of the questions, save it for when we meet. :P
Also want to take this chance to thank you for all that you have been to me. Really enjoyed my time with your batch and it has been an amazing journey for me. Each and every one of you have taught me so much and I will always remember you and I do hope we will be friends for a long time to come.
Attached is the invite as we are trying to save the trees. Do let me know if you die die want a card and I will send it to you. :) Hope to see you on 15 June. Due to the many things that I must rush out for this wedding in a very short time, I am not quite coping. Would appreciate if you could let Melvin know at 9***4154 (I edited this part) whether you are able to make it ok? He will be collating the response for me.
Issit cool or issit cool? =) It was definitely a pleasant surprise and I shall make every effort to attend the wedding!
Ok this post is getting abit long, so I shall stop here for now... June is a busy month, and I shall embrace everything tat comes my way, esp the youth camp, and look forward to July, where I'll have much more time, and of cos not forgetting my trip to Korea!! =) Check back for more updates soon!
