The simple joys in life =)

10 more days to my driving test!

2 more months till sch starts!

It has been a busy week, and there hasn't been time to blog abt everything... Let's focus on the more impt stuff, lolx... For a start, I have indulged in gd fd as you can see =)

Managed to go kite flying too, with Shu Qi and her friend, which I think is a childhood joy =) We went cycling too, plus having a go on the swing and climbing tat ropey thing, if u noe wad I'm toking abt... Still enjoyed kite-flying the most! =)

Our high-flyer =)

Can you see it?

Up close: "Pikachu, I choose you!"

Been doing lots and lots of driving since last week, almost every day cos of my upcoming test... There hav been ups and downs but I thank God tat things are getting better =) Wish me luck ya?

Oh ya not forgetting the study session at the airport on Monday with Si Han, Serene and Xin Hui (for awhile until her fren came) N I reli studied ok? Managed to do 5 proving qns, 4 of which uses Mathematical Induction, in 2½ hrs, which makes it 30 mins per qn, lolx... Too bad I had to leave early for driving =( Well, there'll be lots of opportunities to study next time, hahaz...

Tuesday was a record, 5 activities in a single day! Taught keyboard, watched Narnia, gave tuition, went for driving, and finally watched Narnia again, lolx... Yes I watched the same show twice on the same day, at $6.50 each, (GV Membership rox!) and I dont regret it =)

Today morning went jogging with Shu Qi at SunPlaza park, then ate breakfast/lunch at Mac... God reli held back the rain =) I was one of the last few ppl to grab the Breakfast set at abt 11.04am? Ate super slowly and toked alot, lolx...

Attended 3 wakes within 2 wks and its reli true tat life and death are not exactly tat far apart... But anyway I suppose its the simple joys in life that spur us on, together with the knowledge tat at the end of our race we hav a heavenly reward waiting for us =) Nobody said life was easy, but God is real and He LOVES us!!! =) And I believe tat is sufficient =)

Note: Life is reli unpredictable... Look at wad I juz received in an email today from my Falcon Scouts teacher-in-charge...

Dear all

I know this will come as a shock to many of you. If it is of any comfort, it is a shock to me too. :) Two announcements...

1. I will be leaving for Beijing for a year at the end of August. Of cos you are welcome to visit me! If not, we can always keep in touch via skype.

2. I am getting married on 15 June 08 at 4pm at Bethesda Cathedral and I would like to have with me people who matter to me and have been a blessing in my life and of cos you are one of them!

I know a lot of you will be very shocked and will have many questions. I am so sorry for informing you so late cos this is quite a last minute thing. Don't be naughty, this is not a shot-gun wedding and I am not pregnant, just that we will be leaving for Beijing very soon. I know the next thing will be "but we didn't even know you are attached".... well, we have known each other as colleagues for a few years now but must admit that this came out of the blue... can only say that life is unpredictable in every sense of the word. The rest of the questions, save it for when we meet. :P

Also want to take this chance to thank you for all that you have been to me. Really enjoyed my time with your batch and it has been an amazing journey for me. Each and every one of you have taught me so much and I will always remember you and I do hope we will be friends for a long time to come.

Attached is the invite as we are trying to save the trees. Do let me know if you die die want a card and I will send it to you. :) Hope to see you on 15 June. Due to the many things that I must rush out for this wedding in a very short time, I am not quite coping. Would appreciate if you could let Melvin know at 9***4154 (I edited this part) whether you are able to make it ok? He will be collating the response for me.

Issit cool or issit cool? =) It was definitely a pleasant surprise and I shall make every effort to attend the wedding!

Ok this post is getting abit long, so I shall stop here for now... June is a busy month, and I shall embrace everything tat comes my way, esp the youth camp, and look forward to July, where I'll have much more time, and of cos not forgetting my trip to Korea!! =) Check back for more updates soon!
