Father's love! =)

It has been a great weekend! =) So many things happened but no time to update... Shall start with Friday night... The leaders' meeting was reli very gd... Li Shien Jie shared this with us :

Indeed there's onli so much we can do if we do not have God's love in us! It was a simple yet powerful reminder...

Then Sat morning went down to City Music together with Auntie Limin to look for the church keyboard... After identifying one of the keyboards, we played around with it for like half an hour? Hahaz... Actually we sortof decided tat we were going to buy it liao, lolx... So of cos in the end we bought it (more of a music arranger rather than a synthesizer cos we forsee tat we're gonna write songs and do our own recording in the future) it came with a bag, stand, headphones and a pedal which unfortunately was out of stock =( Anyway the both of us took a cab back to Agape and unloaded everything but didnt set it up yet... Now we have a new drumset, 2 new keyboards and we have ppl training to come into the worship team! Whee, God's timing is so perfect! =)

Come Sunday was another great day in the house of the Lord! I muz say tat the whole spiritual atmosphere of our 11.30am service is very different now... It has been reli great and I feel so blessed to be in the worship team where I can reli serve His people with His music =) Totally cool la! God is reli working as we can see from all the diff testimonies and its very diff when the Holy Spirit juz comes... Lives will juz overflow with love and joy, and tat's wad's happening now in Agape! =) So glad to be part of all this!

To top it all off, badminton was a totally exhilarating experience once again... Reli got a great workout and my legs are reli aching from all tat exercise, lolx... Today had abt 10 ppl so was sortof juz nice too... Could keep rotating and playing and nobody gets left out... Ate the claypot noodle after tat at the clubhouse... It was nice but super salty =/ Am reli glad tat I got the chance to exercise, hahaz... Well, tml I'm meeting Wei Nian (my company mate who happens to be going to the exact same course as me in NTU) 12pm at Boon Lay... Shall have lunch at NTU (YAY!) followed by our medical checkup... So so cool to visit my future sch, hahaz =) I noe I've been saying this again and again but juz cant wait for sch to start!! =D

The Bucket List

Watched this movie ytd night and I muz say tat it is reli a very gd and meaningful show! Talks about 2 guys getting terminal cancer and then coming up with this list of things to do b4 they actually kick the bucket... Some of the things include skydiving, car racing, and all sorts of things tat one doesnt usually get the chance to do... Then there was this part of the movie when they were both at the top of the Egyptian pyramids and one of them (the more knowledgeable one) told the other guy abt the 2 qns Egyptians were asked after their death to determine where they go...

1) Have you found joy in your life?
2) Have you brought joy to the people around you?

As simple as it seems, I thought tat these 2 qns are oso quite profound... Reli got me thinking abt wad I've been doing with my life... Well in the end I think the both of them realised tat family and friends are much more impt then ur status, wealth and many other materialistic stuff... A very very gd movie that got me laughing and crying at the same time, lolx... A muz-watch for anyone and everyone!! =)

Well juz wanted to tell the people tat I noe, esp frenz and family and you, yes you, the one reading this right now... I cherish each and everyone of you for being a part of my life =) Love you guys! =P

Buffet after buffet

Gosh first time in my life had so many consecutive buffets, lolx... Last nite had buffet for family dinner then today lunch and dinner oso buffet... All at Jasper's Condo the function rm there... Lunch was Angela's baby gal Gabrielle's one month old anniversary then dinner was Jin Xiu's 21st! So much fd la, eat until super shiok, hahaz...

Planetshakers Concert / Dad's Bday =)

Planetshakers Concert
Was reli blessed to be able to make it for the Planetshakers Concert ytd evening... N it was superbly good! Met Xin Hui, Jing Hui, Li Yun, Han En, Chengxin and Kaiqi at Expo MRT for dinner... Went to the fd court and ordered some unknown fd to eat =/ Regretted but finished it anyway... Super salty la =( Halfway thru Isabel came and I got my tix! =) Amos oso came and joined us while waiting for his frenz... After dinner saw Joelle, Kailin, Felicia and her fren... Went to the concourse area and crowded around while waiting for the rest... Soon Yi Yong, Joel came along and some of us then proceeded to go in first... Managed to book 2 rows of seats for all our latecomers, lolx... Was bored so took a few pics but nothing much la... Then was standing around then Joelle tapped me on the shoulder... To my surprise, I turned around and saw Chris! (my company mate) Went out and we talked and caught up for quite awhile... He went for some course during the last 3 months in bible college learning abt the various ministries... Quite cool rite? Then now he's teaching Math and Sci in St. Hilda's Sec... Apparently he's oso going for a mission trip tat he planned with 4 other frenz in May... So happening la!!

Anyway after tat the concert started liao... Planetshakers came out first and I tell u it was very good! We went out after awhile and there was reli lots of space to worship Him freely! =) Its reli been a long while since I could worship so freely, jumping around and all... After tat was Tim Hughes and his live band... Though I didnt reli know their songs, but it was quite good too... Had a great time of worship... Then suddenly a very familiar intro was played... Super nice la... Then it hit me! It's "Mighty To Save"... Slightly diff style from Hillsong but still very nice =) Though their songs are not bad, but whenever something familiar plays, tat indescribable feeling juz floods into ur whole being and u noe u're ready to give ur all...

After tat this guy shared his testimony on how Jesus found him... It was real nice his sharing... Simple yet powerful... N I suppose its always better to share your own true story, something tat u exp personally... Not too long, not too short, then followed by and altar call... Praise God for those who received his salvation! =) After Planetshakers came back and ended everything on a high note! Was sweating like mad and almost lost my voice by then but totally enjoyed the whole thing!

After the whole thing went for supper... Took bus 24 and then walked in to 85 market... Saw Hui Ting (sec sch classmate) on the bus and bombarded her with qns abt NTU... Apparently she was on her way home after studying at the airport... Oh man, cant wait to start sch, lolx... Ppl asking me to go this camp tat camp liao... Reli dunno how to choose la... Excited abt uni life but dunno wad to expect =/ Oh well, I shall find out for myself when sch starts...

Dad's Bday
Had family dinner today to celebrate my Dad's bday... Decided on the restaurant in Paramount Hotel in the end... Had the a la carte Buffet... Choice of 52 items to choose from including dessert... Super fattening but I ordered like crazy anyway, hahaz... The food was reli good and super hard to resist, lolx... Treasured the family time together as well, cos its not everytime tat we can to eat together, lolx... After tat went to Marine Parade to shop... Had fun going around with my bro and looking at stuff, hahaz... I think he's a more exp shopper than me, lolx... Then in the end we all took cab home... I think its the first time my whole family took cab together oso, lolx... Oh man, my body hasnt fully recovered from the jumping and shouting ytd, but tat exp was totally worth it! =)
